Burtonwood Village is a community located just south of the town limits of Smyrna, Delaware, that was built in 2002 consisting of 96 homes. Within the community there  are three different home styles (ranch, colonial and Spilt level. Smyrna is Delaware's 5th largest town. Smyrna in recent years is one of the fastest growing municipality, It is located at what is now the demographic center of the state. Strategically located and poised for continued economic and residential growth, the future is promising for Smyrna!
The town is nearly four miles in size, and its population is nearly 13,294 (2022) residents and is constantly growing.
   

The first residents of Burtonwood Village,  moved into their homes in 2002; Located just north of Delaware’s capital of Dover, Burtonwood Village is close to: two of the three major routes in Delaware, route 1 and 13.

 

We are located close to the beaches (one hour) and have access to nearby sports, music and cultural events, in Philadelphia, Washington DC and New York.

The community HOA is governed by a Board of Directors, Self managed by its elected homeowners who volunteer for duties of caring for the maintenance of the development.   Our governing documents ensure that community standards are maintained.

Living in Burtonwood Village provides residents the opportunity to live a quiet and peaceful lifestyle as they choose and to travel to New York Philadelphia and Washingto DC.  It is also a friendly place to live.  Homeowners of Burtonwood Village care about one another and their properties.  It has no amenities (Pool, clubhouse etc) and it is an HOA fee community
